Homemade Dog Ice Lolly Recipes

Now the weather is (finally) warming up, it's time to start treating your dog to their own Summery treats! Check out our tried and tested dog ice lolly recipes below.

Ice lollies or dog ice cream are a simple (and tasty) way to effectively cool your dog off in hot weather. As you already know, dogs pant to help them cool down, so licking something cold with their tongue helps speed up the process.

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Carrot
  • 300ml Water

Method:

  • Slice the apple into small pieces
  • Gate the carrot
  • Measure out the water into a jug and tip in your apple and carrot
  • Blend until smooth
  • Pour the mixture into ice lolly moulds or small paper cups and place in the freezer until they are partially frozen (between 1-2 hours)
