I love the basket and the way it looks as it matches the decor in our home. Our recently rescued kitten loves laying in it as the cushion inside is super super soft. However when the basket arrived it almost looked like it had been chewed/scratched already. I know hyacinth has natural inconsistencies however this just felt like it was used. There were loose bits of the material all on the cushion when it arrived and lots of bits hanging off that my kitten wants to bite off something that can be really detrimental to him. The bar that is supposed to come out to fit over the radiator was jammed completely and my partner had to use a hammer to try and get it out! Then when it’s on the radiator it just falls forward and doesn’t sit up horizontal as we would’ve hoped. I’d been looking at this basket for months and was so excited to buy it it’s the only one like this online however I am really disappointed with the quality for the money that we paid. I thought this would be a really sturdy lovely quality basket for £40 but unfortunately it will make me hesitate buying something else from this brand again.
